In pursuit of an objective, a goal, or even a dream, whether business or personal, you can increase the likelihood of success by forming a Mastermind Team. Bringing together a group of like-minded individuals to brainstorm ideas, create strategies and develop action plans is a surefire method of maintaining momentum and achieving follow through.

You must be discerning, though, when selecting your team players. They will bring their own skill set, intellect and talent to the table but, crucially, they must have similar values to you, come from the same ‘place’ and be aiming for the same goals otherwise it may be difficult to gel the group from the outset. Consider the bass, baritone and soprano: they harmonize from the same score with different parts but produce one voice.

Failure to follow through is often due to difficulty in maintaining confidence, enthusiasm, single mindedness and persistence. But a Mastermind Team produces a collective think tank and engenders a superior confidence, networking capability and a mutual support mechanism which can transcend the ability of any one individual.

Regardless of whether you are pursing a huge goal or something thought of as routine and small by usual standards, apply these ideas on a consistent basis. What you are likely to discover is a greater focus to everything surrounding your project. This increased focus will begin to attract the people, the ideas, and the resources needed to bring the project into physical reality.

Going solo is commendable but the creative synergy of a Mastermind Team may be worth considering if you want to fast forward yourself to success.
