I am a singer-songwriter, poet, freelance writer, journalist, author, naturalist and photographer. I was born in Cardiff, Wales and lived there until the end of 2004 when I moved to Tenerife in the Canary Islands.

I am commonly known as the Bard of Ely because I was given this title by Big Issue magazine in which I used to have a column and I lived in the Ely council estate in Cardiff.
