Dog catcher put my dog to sleep - why

The dog catcher for the city of westland has been harrassing me for the last couple of months. I have moved into my new house just a few months ago the dog catcher came by my house to take my dogs while i was gone. Asked him why is he taking them and could not come up with a reason, just that he is taking them. me not knowing my rights because he had two police officers with him I got the dogs out and he took them. I got the dogs out paid the fees. he came back again and took them 2 more times. this last time he took just one of my dogs because he said that he got out - i have no money at all to get my dog because I already spent $600 because of him. He put my DOG TO SLEEP. I am devistated by this and want to take action. Where do I go? I have neighbors who have said that they see him waiting outside of my house and then come to take the dogs. She has times and dates noted. Has told a neighbor that it is his mission to get me. I have to do something but dont know where to go - PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Ooops. Another thing. Instantly! Search term "stalking" and read about what this is, and what they suggest that you do to keep yourself safe.

If this guy is telling people that he is out to get you - then watching your house - don't assume that he's not a nut just because he has a city uniform on. Keep yourself safe.

This is so sad Tammy. My heart goes out to you.

Chance are good that if this man is harassing you, that he is also harassing others with pets. You might want to write your story into a letter form and ask your local newspapers to print it under 'Letter to the Editor' column. Nobody pays to put those letter in, the newspaper just prints the ones that they think will be interesting to their readers. You sound interesting to me.

Okay, part of the deal with these letters is that you must be super careful not to say or print anything that can get you into more trouble. Do not call the man names or openly say that he's bad... you do not need to be on the fighting end of a harassment, slander, or defamation suit.

Instead, maybe craft your letter in a way that makes you sound like the nice confused person that you are, asking if any other members of your community know anything about this, or have had the same problems.

This might help you to find others locally that can help.

Do you know why this guy doesn't like you? If so, maybe there's a way to use kissy-kissy words to make-up and be friends for the sake of the other animals involved? That's a huge toughie in some situations.

But, every person on the planet enjoys kindness. So, kindness is a good fix-it tool to explore. Smiles get you further than grrrr's. Example: We like the smiling puppy instantly, and are wary of the one saying grrrrr. Somehow, you need to make them think that you're the smiling puppy so that they like you and leave you, plus your little friends alone.
