After 50 to 80 years, all of us members of this site would have passed away. It's a reality that most of us disregard but its the surest thing of all. All people die. When we are already out of here in this wonderful life and world, what could have we done today that would have mattered? Friendships matter most but if the memory of what we do to our friends would be passed on to the generations, that would matter. All of life's Meanings would have gone in the fog but if these meanings are turned to lessons that can be taught long after we are gone, that would matter. Learnings would matter now that we are alive but teachings would matter long after we have gone. What will matter is not on the length of our years but in the quality of our life that others would never forget. No treasures would matter except the treasures of soul and spirit. All wealth will shrivel to irrelevance while all shining examples of integrity, compassion, sacrifice, and goodwill will light up the skies. What will matter is how long we will be remembered by those whose lives we have touched.
