Cancer cure
Posted On 10/12/2008 01:22:36 by hello

It seems to me, this internet experience, is like a riot of information so out of proportion, that one can easily get lost while looking for a way to spiritual and physical health. Most everywhere you investigate one is greeted by supposed cures or treatments guided by the commercialization of medicine. In this call for attention to what my journey has presented, my prayers continue to manifest themselves in my writings. In this movement we call life, is it too hard to expect that you who read this can accept my message at heart? Yes, there is so much attention to the economy, climate change, and the extinction of species in the news today, but the root cause of what we are experiencing does not seem to be mentioned in the mass media. We need to understand who we are really, and for you to truly accept what you are about to read. The life and practice of an authentic traditional healer is dependant upon on a high level of spiritual development in addition to the rigorous tasks involved in gathering and preparing medicines. What also needs to be considered is the knowledge and practice of the proper prayers, rituals, and ceremonies associated in the process of this way of healing. Alcohol and drug addictions, AIDS, arthritis, cancer, diabetes, gastritis, ulcers, Crohn`s disease, psoriasis, and the list goes on about the illnesses that my wife has cured thru Gods will, and the traditional medicine that her clan of Native American Embera healers have practiced for untold generations. My memory takes me to a time before I met my wife, but knew of her medicine. It was in the company of the Canadian ambassador, a Scotsman, here in Panama. My attempt to share with him the incredible gift of healing that had come to my attention was met by a remark that sounded like this: If we (white people) have not found a cure for cancer yet how can you expect these illiterate dirty Indians who live in the jungle to be able to do that? There is also the recollection of a couple of medical doctors, supposed experts on AIDS, who were quite polite, yet just as condescending as they looked down their noses at my company and I. There are many stories of this type that can be told, but the message remains the same. The fundamental changes that we need in our world today can only occur by returning home to our spiritual heritage. The medicine of which we can all benefit is linked to faith, discipline, and the sacredness of all life there is such potential for true healing in the simple practice of belief. Why is it that so many do not know of this in our digital information age? If you believe even in the remote possibility of what these words convey do you not feel morally responsible to investigate the truth of the matter? Please my friend consider what the heart dictates. . We do not need to think that we own things to truly benefit in our lives. We need to share truth. Ownership is a lie impose upon our minds and actions thru rampant commercialization of most every aspect in what we call the developed world. Remember our stay in life is a gift which is best utilized in the service of others. Commercialization is like a death to the awareness of Spirit. Real love flows between the all of who we are really when we accept the sacred interconnectedness of all living things. So many of us are in need of proper medicine, yet we are unaware that the way to health coexists on the fringes of our dominant cultures held with prayers in the oral/spiritual tradition of a people who have not forgotten and continue to practice traditional medicine. Life is dependant upon life. Our Creator has taught the power of humility and the way of sacrifice for the benefit of all. When one in need with humble tone asks permission to benefit, as also all others may benefit, as God is great, and all things are possible thru His will one/we are blessed. We as a family under God are blessed by prayers, rituals, and ceremonies still practiced by the few who remain loyal to their spiritual heritage. The clan of Embera people that our creator has married me into are healers in the tradition that He has given them. Healing is spiritual, botanical, using all types of life forms from the plant, animal, mineral, and other spiritual entities to make medicine. If the medicine is presented to a person without faith then the spirit of the medicine will not be easily accepted by that person. If the person has faith then the spirit of the medicine will live within that person affecting a cure. The healer is like a go between our Creator, the medicine, and the patient, invoking with humility and love the proper prayers, preparations, rituals, and ceremonies that have been learned thru the process of this millenary science. Dear reader can you imagine desperately struggling to save a loved ones life, or maybe your own? Can you imagine the hurt and suffering of people with cancer, AIDS, and other ills who are hoping without hope for a cure? Can you imagine what a blessing that a real cure to illness would represent for our world? If you believe this or are able to change your perspective to accept the possibility of this as true then we together can change our world into a model of healthy, sustainable, beautiful living in harmony with all existence. The quality of our being is dependant upon the degree of spiritual union in what is like a tree of life. Unity can be seen as an open heart of all who are a part or feed the tree of who we all are. This is my meaning of love flowing; it is the binding energy of who we all are. The visualization of Unity is like the air we breathe; shared by all, needed by all, a collective process wherein interdependence is easily demonstrated, yet lost among the minds of those who are possessed by the illusion of ownership. Freedom only exists when the mind reaches the spiritual level to a point of accepting that in owning nothing while in the service of others we become that which we serve; we return home to our Creator. In our movement towards Unity is the history of our attained knowledge. What has been called the hidden science of Embera people, the art and practice of healing, has been prophesized to be the science of humankinds salvation in the midst, of what is now happening, our destruction thru our own misguided actions. Take heart my friend we need to focus our minds on the way to healing without distractions diffusing our good actions. Many of us need to learn and to practice prayer. We need to develop prayer globally putting our prayers into all needs. We need to work in the service of others. We need to focus on traditional medicine. Medicine on the personal, family, community, inter cultural needs where attention and discipline should be placed on what we eat, especially where healing is concerned. The traditional medicine of the Embera people needs to become known by being placed into the mainstream thus improving the quality of our lives while returning to social/spiritual justice. Let us take a look at one history to see how medicine can have a tremendous positive impact on our world. Think about breast cancer, its growing presence such a cause of suffering around our world, and the commercialization of all type of practices, such as reconstructive surgery, that revolve around it. Some time ago a woman came to our home in the last stage off breast cancer. The chemo had made her hair fall out, her hands were black from the broken blood vessels, her body was starving, and she could not walk unassisted. What she had in her favor was faith, and that God had placed her in our home. She had been adamant with her will to not have her breasts removed by a surgeon who wrote her off as a nut case. One medical doctor mocked her belief in God was going to kill her. Not to go into more detail other than thru her faith, discipline, and traditional medicine, this woman’s body is intact and free of disease. An acquaintance of this woman later came to our home with breast cancer and practiced the regimen of treatments just up to the point where she felt she was recovered disregarding my wife’s instructions to continue until she would give a diagnosis of a clean bill of health. Now this woman has returned with a cancer developing in another part of her body. As these prior events were transpiring a professor at the university was brought to our attention who was also suffering with breast cancer. My wife and I went out of our way to prepare medicines, both a tea and a poultice, and brought these to her office in the city. We had to travel by foot, bus and taxicab and charged her a small fee. We explained the procedure in detail and said to her to maintain communication by cell phone. It was the day before these words were first written that a mutual friend was in our home and I asked him about the professor. He immediately called her on her cell to find out that she was in the hospital having opted for a surgery to remove some tissue from her breast and under her arm. Of course my perspective is to be sympathetic, but also, there is anger, not so much for this poor woman as for the cancer of this modern society we live in. When we look at this frightened woman we see an under appreciated, under paid, working single mother with two kids and little moral support. She returns to the very same medical institution that has failed her in the first place to become further sickened in their practice. My wife knows that cancer has roots that go throughout the entire body, and when you cut a part out it will return, if not in the same part in whatever is the weakest point of defense, and it will return stronger. The point my words would like to make is that we need to reach people in a way that they accept that their illness can be cured if they demonstrate the proper faith, discipline, and communication required to go along with it. Maybe under a group setting there would be more of the support needed amongst the members of the group. In any event it is such a sad state of affairs we live in with such power of communication and so little understanding. It would be of great service if you would share this with others, with all people. Even a person you may dislike should be part of our prayers. On this Embera Nation Panama MySpace every word, every visual aspect, every sound is a prayer that when its attention sinks in, we understand what needs to be done to change our world for the better. My belief is that we all have shared interests and that most of the real problems of our time are based on neglecting them. Our physical body is a gift that when ill can best be treated with botanical/spiritual medicine, our minds are tools that need meditation and discipline giving us the ability to stay on the right course, our heart is our connection to God which can guide our minds to make the right decisions. If your heart desires to fulfill the dream of divine justice, create harmony amongst all people, and to develop spiritually please consider what is being presented to you. The family I live with are humble, people who live a simple life while in possession of an extraordinary gift. My wife, for example, does not look for people who are ill to demonstrate her ability to cure, nor does she cure the patients who come to her for monetary gain. It is the will of our Creator that she serves the people who come to her in the tradition that her people have practiced for untold generations. Of course, now that we are husband and wife, my influence has taken some effect on the way she handles things. My involvement is to simply share my opinions, make suggestions, to always be there no matter what, but never to interfere or try to change who she is; a simple woman that is highly spiritually developed. At some point in my writings it is difficult to express what many would call the supernatural if at all their would be a belief in this sort of thing. What comes to mind at this moment is the idea of a strong faith in things unseen as a way to better appreciate the possibility of what some of my words might imply. My wife has, at times, accepted patients to treat them with all her heart, her love, while knowing they were going to die. At best she had extended their life a bit longer to make their peace while passing more time with family. This she has done feeling all the pain of her knowing without sharing her foresight with those concerned to spare them this grief. She is bound by the spiritual nature of her work to fight for life as only our Creator has the right to take life away. However, this is the exception not the rule as most people can completely recover their health; better yet prevent disease with traditional medicine. Now, dying well is as important as living well, as the legacy of a life well lived better prepares our movement into another life, yet our time in this world is most definitely being tested. Some may call this karma, or cause and effect; they cannot see, however, the out come of our life’s efforts are reflected by eternity, and just as modern science has no measure for the infinite we need surrender to faith as our minds fail. As a medical doctor can not measure the love in your heart, nor can he see God, we can still know of His existence even feel his presence, and most definitely appreciate His creation. By becoming aware that we are not the owners of things, by letting go of the practice of attempting to create or alter life, we see through our self imposed or imposed illusions, of boundaries placed before us. Boundaries like the boarders of countries, economic status, and maybe more importantly the boundary between the physical and the spiritual. What we do physically has spiritual repercussions, and while most of us are not able to see this who today would not agree that the problems of our time require a global effort, a global consciousness that transcends the individual while honoring its importance. Unity is the surrender of the individual to the greater good with the realization that I, or they, are we. The advancement of our spiritual identity in the physical sense is the common ground of interdependence, that we cannot survive with out each other. Back to medicine, you see the medicine way is one of our common threads, as interwoven within all creation is the need of healing. This hidden science begs to be known, but this is not a cry to benefit by the commercialization of what God has given us. Allow your mind to see with your heart, or at least you can become aware of the fever we have caused our Mother earth, taste it in the poisons we consume, the water , the air that we breath, in the loss of natural lands and species. You may understand that the root of suffering is desire, but how do we alleviate the suffering, our suffering, of so many inequalities and rampant illnesses around our world? Not by diminishing our desires only, but thru our collective intent to do right while seeking truth. Cancer, diabetes, Aids, arthritis, is curable. Now what are we going to do about this? Until we meet again, Raymond Hermenet
