Being Alive in this Kosmos
Posted On 11/03/2008 22:49:11 by Bodhi

Being alive in this universe is simply mind boggling. Biochemist Quasler states that the coincidence of life in this planet is one out of ten raised to the 301nth power. This is not only one in a million which has nine zeros after the number one but one in a zillionth zillion which has 301 zeros after the number one. Start counting every second of your life and you will not even reach a trillion till the time you die of old age. That's how precious life is. Imagine an exploding firecracker. What is the possibility that one particle in that explosion will have the consciousness to realize its origins? Absolutely nothing! Yet here we are Human beings realizing that we came from the Big Bang. Amazing isnt it? If the earth is 30 days, when did the human being come? On the first day? After ten days? You will be surprised that we came only a minute ago or about 123,000 years compared to the earth's 4.6 billion years. Yet in the span of that one minute we created nuclear bombs enough to destroy ten planets the size of the earth. Yes indeed we are so powerful we can destroy or transform the earth.

I agree . Just in my generation oohhh the things that have changed and the mess we have made. It is amazing our life is made up of so much yet it seems to be over in the blink of an eye !!! When you start looking back at generations of family and hearing them talk and the things from just when i was a kid and here i am and so much has changed, I have often wondered where we as earth will be in 30 yrs and me on a personal basis ??? All those seconds add up to moments and moments add up to memories and thats life my friend !!!!

Where I am, it is interesting to look at the way that the world has changed over the years in our rocks. We have palm leaves and warm weather creatures fossilized up here. It is obvious that Mother Earth had everything under control before man showed up.

Now, just since WWI, man has really messed everything up with our technologies that are not being used for the good of everybody on earth. It's a shame that we can blow up this wonderful planet. A further shame that we can take all kinds of other planets with us if that ever happens.

Today during the election process is a good time for everybody to remember to think about global peace. When lots of thoughts concentrate on the same issue, nice things can happen.
