Tooth infection .. will fasting help me
Posted On 12/16/2006 17:17:30 by Mdenali

tooth infection....

I had an exray taken for a molar wednesday night . It cracked on Monday, had a root canal done in early october. The dentist says that its not worth it to try and save the tooth. It may fall out, or give me problems later on . I'm sad .. not wanting to get a titanium implant for replacement. Do you think if I fast .. my body will eat the infection? I'm not so sure because I heard that root canals can harbor bacteria that can't be cleaned by the body. The blood can't get to it.. I'm confused.. willing to fast to have a chance of cleaning it out. I really want to save this tooth .

any suggestions please let me know..

Hi Miatta,

Fasting and limiting exposure to all toxins help empower the immune system. When the immune system is functioning well it does a much better job at fighting an infection. Other important factors for the immune system to function well is to limit stress and to get ample rest. Many times a localized infection will need to drain. The body can create its own fistula, however, often times oral surgery is preferred to mitigate tissue damage. I personally would work on empowering my immune system, swish with hydrogen peroxide in the area of the infection for a couple minutes 3 times a day. Then check with the dentist to see if progress has been made and to get suggestions from that point. If they recommend oral surgery and antibiotics I would make sure I took a dose of healthy bacteria supplements after the course of antibiotics.

Bliss and Blessings!
