Choosing Humility?

Meditation and the Spiritual path - idea # 109

from your Buddhism expert

Could it be safe to admit, “I don’t know”? There could be times when we are conversing with one who is truly spiritual, that we won’t know the answer to a question put to us. By exercising the humility that admits, “I don’t know”, with out: excuses, justifications, minimizations, or petty posturing, our esteem in the eyes of the truly spiritual could surely grow.

If the one with whom we are conversing lacks the wisdom to value humility and simplicity then his opinion of us is utterly unimportant. Humility is always the right decision.
