Death and Change
Posted On 07/15/2008 19:09:42 by Bodhi

The poem goes like this, "Catch then o catch the transcient hour, Improve each moment as it flies, Life is short summer, man a flower, He dies, alas, how soon, he dies." Perhaps this is one the reasons why i everyday is a beautiful day for me and every friendship that you offer is so meaningful. Death is just around the corner and i dont know what time or day when i will have to relinquish all the beauty that is around me. The reality of death is the one sure thing that often misses our attention. A funeral parlor once advertised, "You are all my customers!" Yet life is so poignantly beautiful that every second is a wonder and a delight--but when death comes, nothing. This is why i try to make every moment count. All personal accomplishments come to nothing with death. It is only the friendship and the memory that remains. If i can make use of this borrowed life making others happy, joining worthy causes, loving friends, and making the world a better place, then my life would not be in vain and in the end accept the welcoming arms of death.
