How can I use the internet to earn an income?

I am looking for a way to earn some real income at home. I get the idea the internet is full of "wolves" preying on newbies like me! I don't want to hear about quick rich schemes or great products that will change my life! I just want to hear from people for whom it worked out, having an online job!

I love spending time on the net, but I guess it will be great to get paid doing something I love!

Hello,

I hope this message finds you well! If you have a website you can utilize Google's Ad Sense Program...or another program is Adbright. :)

hey,

I can tell you a way that is working for me.  I have been working with charles heflin.

He has a site at charlesheflin.com that offers a free report on what we are doing and how.  The report itself is enough for you to get going. If you would like some tutoring, there is a private members site as well.

Good luck,
Brian

I tried Mary Kay but it's different than that-I'm not knocking Mary Kay, but I've found their compensation plan is better, less expensive, etc. and also I believe in and use the products more...so, it's worked well for me!

Laughing!!! Now why didn't I think of asking before I set off on my "Let's Make A Living On Internet" project 8 long years ago???

Loeki? "Wolves" don't begin to describe some of the people running some of the ways to make money online.

First: Stay away from eBay. It was a safe-and-sane place before, now it is hard to be there without running into scams, problems, and emails full of viruses that can take your computer down.

Next: Decide what you'd like to do. You've got 3 choices. 1. Sales. 2. Information. 3. Ownership directing over sales or information. These choices all have ooodles of smaller jobs that must be done under each title. Some take skills, others take time. But, there really is something for every skill talent, time available, and education level.

Smiles! Then come chat with me in my private notes area. Maybe I can help with a few ideas to think about.  There are online jobs all over the place. The first step towards finding them is in deciding what you want to do.

Oh, and I should mention what every one of us here with an online job already knows. Nothing in life is free. Online jobs are like all other jobs. They require that nasty four-letter word "w-o-r-k". But, many of us totally love going to work in our bunny slippers.

Good luck with your online jobs hunting! Catherine

I have actually have made very good money on Ebay. As Catherine has said you do run into scams but the old saying goes if its to good to be true it normally is. Few tips

1. Around christmas time everyone wants new stuff with tags

2. Try to get your bidders to pay by paypal because its double protection

3. follow up on reporting dead beat bidders and you will get your insert fee refunded

4. always be completely honest in your adds

5. people are not above buying used

6. i have done really well in the plus size dept because women who are plus size as myself really donnot like shopping in public so if you can bring name brands to them they will come and they will buy.

7. be accurate on your measurements !!!!!

8. keep a log on what your spending to insert your add to make sure your making profit off what your selling.

9 be kind be undestanding it goes along way, but also know when your being taken advantage of. treat it like a buisness.

I bring in an extra $350 to $ 750 a month

IF YOUR NOT PART OF THE SOLUTION YOUR PART OF THE PROBLEM

I was a silver-level PowerSeller on eBay. It is not a safe place to be any more. As your income goes up, the scams get worse, and not all scams are coming from buyers or sellers.

PowerSellersUnite is a nice Web site with lots of information about eBay and 100's of alternative places to sell if eBay makes you nervous. This is a big site where site owners, store owners, buyers, suppliers, and sellers all hang out.

~ Here are some other ideas for people to think about who want to make a living online with something to do with online sales:

You can have your own site,

a rented site,

use others sites,

sell preloaded sales sites,

use email sales ads,

use or work for television promotionals,

use or work for telecommunications advertising...

make supplies for sale,

be a supplier for others goods,

lease from a supplier,

network marketing sales,

own a sales from others site,

work for a sales from others site,

lease from a sales from others site...

write advertising for a sales site,

list advertising for a sales site,

load others stores online for them,

be into customer service for other sites,

write CraigsList ads for businesses,

do blog postings for stores,

write sales articles for stores,

write PR news letters for store sales for emails,

write PR articles for internet,

SEO stores listings for internet rankings,

importing,

drop-shipping,

owning drop-shipping,

cookie-cutter type site sales,

And a whole lot more!!!

There are definately internet jobs available under the sales catagory for people interested in working online. Not all sales jobs require actual selling.

Happy Wishes for Big Sales to Kellie!!!

Happy Thoughts to all!!!
