According to a recent study, implementing even a moderate exercise program throughout middle age can delay biological aging by 12 years. Dr. Tepper, who conducted the study said that moderate daily exercise reduced the risk of several life threatening diseases including heart disease, stroke, breast cancer, lower resting blood pressure, pancreatic cancer, osteoporosis and depression among elderly adults.
