Below is a link to an interesting article that I was reading this morning about some 2008 crop circles in Europe.

I like crop circles for their art and beauty; are they more? Researchers have proven that some crop circles are fakes made by using flat boards tied to the artist’s feet to bend the crop stalks over. Other crop circles in these interesting articles are complete mysteries.

The crop circles in this article are being tied to the Mayan calendar ending in the year 2012 – yet, remember that all people are just guessing about what the pretty pictures actually mean. Our guesses as to meaning are just as valid as those working in expert fields. Crop circles are image puzzles that nobody has the answer for yet.  

Crop circles are showing up globally now. To me these are fun news stories to be following. I like to have puzzles, learning, and art in my life daily to feed my curious mind. Crop circles are not just being “drawn” in crops any more. They are forming in snow without footprints, dirt, and every other imaginable ground material there is.

The last crop circle set that I heard about in America this summer was from New Mexico and it was “drawn” in a horse area’s dirt – without any footprints showing. This was just a few days ago. Although, by the time local media got into a plane to fly over it, the arena owner had driven his tractor over to the art, leaving tracks visible out to the circles.

This new July 2008 American formation has been discounted as a fake because of the tractor tracks leading out to it when the media arrived to photograph; but, was it? If I saw a crop circle from my home, I just might find a way to go out to see it on my property before calling the media. The daughter claims that this is exactly what happened.

The bottom line: I like crop circle art. If anybody has any thoughts about what the complicated looking new crop circle might be, please let me know? That's my mind-puzzle of the day.
