This week in Wyoming, we’ve seen our first case of West Nile virus show up. It’s time for all nature lovers here to realize that we should have on long pants and long sleeved shirts while out walking to be safe.

While I was checking out the West Nile virus stats on the internet, I stumbled over a fantastic Web site that some people here may enjoy looking at. This is a ‘Health Map’ site that lists health alerts globally. It’s a picture of a map with alert pins in it for our whole planet… etc.

Something that really caught my eye about this map is that the United States has the most pins in it: 221 compared to all other areas of 51 or less.
