This is great! Thank you so much for sharing this.
Two things to add -- some healing stones/crystals, such as rose quartz can be found at places that sell landscaping rocks for much lower prices than metaphysical stores. If budget is an issue, this might be an idea to look into. I have gotten some beautiful, large rose quartz pieces for personal use and healing sessions at rock yards.
Also, no matter where you get your healing stones and crystals, be sure to cleanse them before use. They have been through quite a bit being taken from the Earth, processed and possibly polished, transported, handled by shop employees and customers, etc. All of this affects their vibrational qualities (energy).
There are lots of ways to cleanse crystals, ranging from burying them in your yard, leaving them out under the moonlight, smudging, burying them in sea salt for an extended period of time, leaving them under running water, etc.
One simple way to cleanse them (and the one I use - followed by smudging) is to allow them to rest in a salt water bath overnight. Fill your soaking container with enough water to completely cover the healing stone(s) and add a small amount of sea salt, then just leave your stone or crystal in the bath for at least several hours (I just leave them overnight).
