Hello everyone,  I dedicate this poem to all of "Victims of Abuse."  To offer hope,  not to cause anyone sorrow.  It is to help offer "Strength,  Courage,  & Freedom!  It was a challange for me to write,  but to me,  it is my favorite piece. It takes a lot of courage as well as strength to write & share with the world.  But if you can reach out & touch one person - to offer hope as well as make them "smile,"  then you are what I say~~ "truly living."  And its my hope for every one of you to be able to set your Spirit Free (smile).

I wasn't sad when I wrote it,  I just wanted to make sure I gave it the justice it deserved.  And I kept praying as I was writing it for guidence.  Anyone who has been a victim of any kind of abuse,  whether that's physical, or emotinal or even violent has pain, suffering - but also healing.  And in my eyes.  For those - "they all Sing."  Which brings tears to my eyes!  "God BLess all of you,  & keep striving to set yourself free to live your life to the fullest that you truly deserve!  And may you all Shine - find peace & "keep smilin."  (May you all SING ;-).)

She was born to be pretty much abandon,

however loved a little.

Pretty much a good girl,

to be taken for granted.

Still -  she sings to lifes dreams,

as she whispers amongst the trees.

Years later she married,

had a beautiful family.

Loved her family deeply,

worked hard to make them happy.

Struggled with every day living,

but kept her spirt free with her little ones you see.

Always someone breaking her spirit,

not allowing her to be whom she was.

Bringing her down to nothing,

like the little girl that she once was.

She finally got the strength to be free,

but to lose all her family.

Such devestation left with nothing,

she trys to take her own life more than once.

But it didn't work you see,

and so - she sings.

Lost her parents,

one didn't know about till months later.

Still maintaining to the best of her abilitys,

keeping in touch with her precious ones to thee.

Very much hidden from life basically,

but still trying to make those dreams a reality.

Where did she get the strenth,

too fight too keep her spirit free.

Has hardly any family ties,

no real roots.

She keeps on trying,

often crying.

Denied to see her newborn grandbaby

from the destruction of another.

Still - she sings to lifes dreams,
as she whispers amongst the trees.

Gets involved with another,

just to be belittled even more.

Until she finally walks out the door,

as she sets herself free.

Gets married again but short lived.

never giving up hope from within.

Alone most of her life,

with an exceptional few.

She truly lives believing in her dreams,

and letting go of all the painful miseries.

She finally sets her spirit free,

seeing all of humanity.

Believing her best friend - God,

for he is the one who guides thee.

Has a new life ahead with her loving family & friends,

Cause she sings to the lifes dreams.

As she whispers amongst the trees,

loving every moment of her own destiny.

Note: I like to end this with a few of my favorite "quotes."

ARUNDHATI ROY:

Not only is another world possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing.

DALE CARNEGIE:

Most of the important things in the world have been accomplished by people who have kept on trying when there seemed to be no hope at all.

MARTIN LUTHER KING JR:

If you lose hope, somehow you lose the vitality that keeps life moving, you lose that courage to be, that quality that helps you go on in spite of it all. And so today I still have a dream.
