This planet always goes through fluctuations in average temperatures. Global warming is not all that much of a problem really.

What is a problem, is that it is being used as an excuse to turn good farmland into giant monoculture plantations in that search for "green" fuels. This is nonsense. If we want to use cleaner transport then we need to ask our governments nicely to stop suppressing all the technology that could help with this problem.

The goverments are the problem. They have fed us a load of old rubbish, and we have unfortunately fallen for it hook, line, and sinker. Anyway, got that little rant off my chest. The point is, that if we want to really have a better world, we need food, not fuel in the traditional sense. We need food, and all the animals, insects, etc, need food too. The things that make that food are plants. But.....We need to know about nutrition.

Sometimes plants dont need the nutrients they take up, those nutrients are for the benefit of the thing that eats them, that is the wonderful thing about nature. It looks after us all. And sometimes we dont even know about it.

If we want to heal the planet, then we need to start planting again, but in an organic way, where knowledge of nutrition is the core. Knowledge of what the animals, insects that eat the plants need, and knowledge of the nutrients that are in the soil. This is an important way to increase diversity. Trying to grow giant monocultures so we can "go green" is a load of old rubbish.

Lets stop talking and start doing. Diversity is the key, the occasional sunspot/ polluted atmosphere is only part of the problem. A further reduction in diversity is going to spell the end of life as we know it. The time for action is now. And our governments are not the answer to the problem. They are the problem.
