The dog catcher for the city of westland has been harrassing me for the last couple of months. I have moved into my new house just a few months ago the dog catcher came by my house to take my dogs while i was gone. Asked him why is he taking them and could not come up with a reason, just that he is taking them. me not knowing my rights because he had two police officers with him I got the dogs out and he took them. It certainly took me long enough to find out where the recycled goods go in my area. I called around and found out that we actually have a recycling plant here. It takes paper, plastics and metal, recycled then sent to private companies to be reprocessed. Glass is shipped to another area for recycling, as there is no facility to process it here.
