This picture my friend took of my daughter checking out a firefly is just so inspiring to me. I keep staring at it. She's so innocent and beautiful. Sometimes I don't see it during day to day "rounds." I just love it. It reminds me to not take life so seriously, even though I find that very hard to do sometimes. Thought I would share it.
Feel like my ego keeps holding me back from everything I really want. I just want a simple list of things I could work on each day to break free from this cycle. Anyone?
My brother died of a heart attack this week, so I have been preoccupied with family and arrangements. I know his energy is among us. Please send all your light my way, and I will be back sharing love and kindess on here soon!
Felt like I had a breakthrough in my meditation today. Felt the light embracing me from the inside out. It was a very lovely feeling.
My daughter Sophia and I went for a walk last night along our country road. We used the opportunity (as her school suggested) to pick up trash and bag it, for Earth Day. It was a really nice experience to share with her. Only problem... I told her we should do it again tonight, and she said "Mom, Earth Day is over".... cute, but I think her school missed the point big time. My goal is to instill in her that caring for the earth is like caring for ourselves... it is infinite. Food for thought, and something for me to work on.
