A GLASS OF MILK

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one dime left, and he was hungry.

He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door.

Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water! She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk.

He drank it so slowly, and then asked, "How much do I owe you?"

You don't owe me anything," she replied.

"Mother has taught us never to accept pay for a kindness."   He said ... "Then I thank you from my heart."

As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also.

He had been ready to give up and quit.

Many years' later that same young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease.

Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation. When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes.

Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room. Dressed in his doctor's gown he went in to see her. He recognized her at once.

He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day he gave special attention to her case. After a long struggle, the battle was won.

Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval. He looked at it, then wrote something on the edge and the bill was sent to her room. She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all. Finally she looked, and something caught her attention on the side of the bill.

She read these words ..

"Paid in full with one glass of milk"

Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart prayed: "Thank You, God, that Your love has spread broad through human hearts and hands."

There's a saying which goes something like this:
Bread cast on the waters comes back to you.
The good deed you do today may benefit you or someone you love at the least expected time.
If you never see the deed again at least you will have made the world a better place - And, after all, isn't that what life is all about?
The hardest thing to learn in life is which bridge to cross and which -- To burn.

Unlike now, before 2003 I used to find some very needy people just walking inside the company "without any permission," where I am working. Mostly ladies, of whom some were young with kids and some were old or sick, or they were widows, or their husbands were severely ill or were in prisons, at certain times it were men also old, too sick or severely handicapped. They come to beg for some money, but are frequently directed towards the "Exit" door (Acts like begging are prohibited in this country). Only a couple of times I saw someone giving something to them. I would at certain times when I had some changes would give to them if I find them passing to the exit through my side of the office. Days would roll by and when I least expected at certain days my boss would give me some money and say "keep this is for you" it would be KD 30/- or 50/- or 70/- even 100/- (1 KD is equal to US$ 3.40) which is several times much then what I had given to a very need him or her. I would work overtime in the office along with my colleagues during excess work, but only I in the company would get overtime for the hours I did beyond office hours. My colleagues would say to me, we are working in this company for several years, but you started working in this company just recently, still in all these years we have not got any overtime for all the excess hours we have worked but you who only joined in recent years is getting paid overtime. But one thing they did not know, that, the money came to my hands on those times when I thought to myself, if at all I had extra cash in my hand. Glory to God. He never forgets. During that time I had even forgotten that I had given anything to anyone or even assisted someone, for which there are several incidents.

While reading the above story of the doctor and the lady, the passed times revolve around my eyes like a slide show on the screen, my mind recalling all those incidents in perfect clarity, my every breath saying "Thank you God, if it were not for you, I would not have done what I have done, I would not have been what I am now."
All Glory to God alone. Is there enough words to praise His everloving, evercaring name, even if I had a thousand tongue declaring millions of thanksgiving all is very less compared to the love He showers upon me, words fails to describe because he is the best of the best among the best, he is the ultimate caretaker in the whole wide universe.

Recently, on February 2007, I had some need of fresh passport size photos so I left my room to the photo studio one evening while it was dark, on the way while walking on the narrow road just before reaching the main road leading to the studio I meet this unshaved person with average height on the dark left corner with a very sad countenance. He showed his hands towards me, I thought for a moment this person would be searching for a certain place. Since he could not walk faster, I went near him, and he asks me "are you an India-n," I said "yes," he hesitating asks "if I request you something can you help me," I told him "well it would depend on what you ask." He than slowly lifted up his shirt, there was hanging through a rope a bag partly filled with some discharged liquid and a tube going through his shirt toward his stomach. He said that he is having problems with his kidneys and he is undergoing dialysis, and he does not have enough money for the treatment as well as for his living. I had only enough money for the photos + a little extra as cash in hand and for dinner that evening. Looking at him I felt a deep urge to give to him so I took out 1 KD and told him, see I do not have much to give, this is what I can afford at present, he gladly took the money staring at my face with deep gratitude for a long time and said "Thank you very much," I wondered if anyone had given him. I left the place to finish the reason for which I went out. His expression of thanksgiving was worth everything. Who knows what he was going through living in this foreign land far away from his household back in his homeland.

Back home in, India I know a servant of God in my city who is used mightily by God. Some years back he was walking through the streets of Mangalore tired, hungry and lonely as he was new to the city. He did not have enough money to go to a restaurant or buy something to eat and drink. He walked and walked until he finally thought he would stop near a house and ask for some water to drink. So he chose a isolated house far away from other houses. This house was alone in a vast piece of land and trees around covering it. Seeing him sitting near the house a maid servant in the house asked what he wanted, he asked her for a cup of water. Giving him water and seeing his condition she went inside and shortly after a while also brought him something to eat. After finishing, he asked who else is staying in such a big house ? as he could not hear any other voices or see anyone in and around that property except for that maid servant. She said the owner (lady) of the house is there and she is bed ridden paralyzed but able only to talk a little. He asked her if he could see her before he continues his journey again. She went inside and after a while after obtaining the owners (lady) permission took him inside to her. Looking at her condition he kept his hands on her and prayed for the healing of her body, and while he was still praying she sat upright completely healed of her paralysis. She then told him, that all of her children's are in the foreign countries, and there is nobody to care for her, so she had appointed a servant to look after her. She said she has got some land around the city and enough wealth, she requested him to stay in the house, while she moved to her another house in the other piece of her property, and this house was converted to a small prayer hall, she donated that whole property for his ministry, and today there stands a beautiful church.

I just thought what would have happened if the owner (lady) did not allow the servant to give water to the man, what would have happened if she did not allow him to see her inside the house knowing that there were no others in that isolated house except for only two females of which one was paralyzed. He was a complete stranger to the city, he never knew the city language, and then they did not even know that he was Gods servant, all he had was a small bag with the Bible and some clothes.  Was it her love to give to someone "without expecting anything back" no matter who he was which brought Gods great miracle of healing in her life ??? What a pleasure it was for me to see that lady while I started attending that prayer hall (even before the church was built), she was walking as good as any healthy person. And what a pleasure it was for me to be with that man of God for some seasons before I left India to work in Kuwait.

Lets look at this prophet of God called Elijah. He was tired of traveling, while he came to the gate of the city he saw a woman gathering sticks and she was a widow with the only one son. Elijah asked her water to drink, while she went to bring him water he called her and asked her to bring also a piece of bread to eat. She told him that she has only a handful of flour and a little oil, and she is gathering the sticks that she may light fire, make bread for her and her son to eat and die as there was terrible famine in the land. But Elijah told her to give him first and then afterwards she can prepare for herself and her son. He told her till God sends the rain upon the earth her barrel of flour and the cruse of oil will never be empty but always be full. She did as he said without any further comments, and though there was famine in the land the barrel of flour and the cruse of oil in her house were always full till the Lord sent rain upon the earth. But during one those days, the widows only hope and treasure, her son died, but Elijah took the dead body of her son from her and went upstairs where he stretched upon the dead body and cried out to God "O Lord my God, I pray thee, let this child's soul come to him again." (1st Kings 17:21 – The Bible).  "And the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived" (1st Kings 17:22 – The Bible).

What a great reward for a widow for giving some water and a piece of bread to the servant of God. She told him that she and her son was going to die after eating bread made of the handful of flour. But for her love and faith in Gods servant her house never lacked food the whole period of famine till the rain came upon the earth. Moreover she got her only son raised to life.

Human beings forget by reason of being born as mortals, having limitations and it is expected. Still certain people being overtaken by pride make it a purposeful attitude developing it as a lifestyle for their status and occupation "I don't have to remember all those things …………….. I am a …….."

But God won't forget. Jesus said,

"And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward." (Mathew 10:42 – The Bible)

God remembers him/her for as tiny as just for giving a cup of cold water to someone in need, for just as tiny as doing a small help to someone in difficulty.

The Bible says,
"Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down and shaken together, and running over, SHALL MEN GIVE INTO YOUR BOSOM." (Luke 6:38 – The Bible)

I remember this beautiful small song which I have sung several times over the years,

Wide wide as the ocean,
High as the heaven above.
Deep deep as the deepest sea,
Is my saviors love.
I though so unworthy,
Still I am a child of His care.
For His Word teaches me,
And his love reaches me "Everywhere."

A Selfless Love, thank you Jesus for teaching us. You loved us first. Help us to spread that love.

She marries her lovers dead body

Woman marries lover's corpse in Gujarat

VADODARA: A young woman who failed to marry her love interest during his lifetime, tied the knot with his body in a remote town in Gujarat's Anand district.

The 20-year-old bride got married to the corpse of the 25-year-old groom who died in an accident on Thursday.

The marriage of Tulsi Devipujak with the body of her dead lover of seven years, Sanjay Dantania, was solemnised before their family members including their four-year-old girl, who was born during the live-in relationship they shared before he died, the woman told reporters at Umreth.

The two were in love and as they could not get married in their village due to restrictions from the panchayat, they fled to Surat and began living together. The couple had returned to Umreth recently as their parents promised them that they will get them married, she said. However, Sanjay accidentally fell in a well and died.

Following his demise, Tulsi insisted that she would marry Sanjay before he is cremated. The family members erected a mandap, dressed the deceased Sanjay as a groom and conducted the marriage rituals.   Tulsi allowed her lover's body to be cremated after the marriage.

Reading the above article, I thought to myself what did the mans dead body had that the woman should marry it knowing that it will be burnt down within the next few minutes. Is there any feeling for the dead body? atleast a little stir to say I understand? Well, she could have just ignored it knowing that she is still young, just 20 years old, and there is much more to do in life then crying over the dead one or even marrying him, if not him there is someone else. The realization dawned on me, that was her love for him which made her to accept him "with passion" even at his death. All the past moments she spent with him made her realize at his death that nothing could ever replace him, she felt so lonely, she wanted his name embodied on her name that will stay with her till her death making her conscious each and every moment that he is with her.

Jesus said "wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together." Mathew 24:28 (The Bible)
[ Carcase = dead body] [Eagles = reference to God's children].
 

My thoughts rolled BACK a couple of thousands years towards the land of Israel where a young man sacrificed his youth. He had a lot to see of this world and drown in its pleasures, all the options were open to him saying life is too short make it sweet as some of my friends used to say me, but he had something else to do, he went on spreading the message of love to them who were like sheep without a shepherd, giving them healing, delivering them from oppression, strengthening them, giving them hope, and overall an assurance of eternal life. I adjusted the binocular of my imagination towards mount Calvary where he hung helpless in the cross. I aligned its lens again and again through God's word "The Bible" to get a clear picture of the situation taking place there.  Where were his friends, where were his disciples, where were his brothers and sister and other family members, where were his relatives and all those who received love, healing and deliverance from him ????? at that time even God the Father was fa------a-----a-----a-----r away from him.

Nobody could have recognized the tears rolling over his cheeks because his face was fully covered with blood and scars, not to mention his whole scared blood soaked body filled with immense pain making him immobile and unrecognizable.

The Bible says "he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him." Isaiah 53:2 (The Bible).
The words of the Bible taking each and everyone of us towards the cross of Calvary making alive his suffering for us, there was no beauty that anyone should have desired him.

Even at this point of absolute helplessness hanging on the cross and knowing he would die shortly He asked God to forgive all who brought that plight upon him "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do." Such a unconditional love. A love given without asking anything in return. I will love you whether you love me or not, I will love you whether you accept me or not no matter who you are. I was wondering whether such love exits? should be, in a Gods child. Because God is the Author, Director, and Perfecter of love, and He guides His children.

I know a servant of God personally back home in India. He has a beautiful church now, and in each service hundreds and hundreds of people would attend, great miracles would happen, peoples would get healed, and them that are afflicted with evil spirits I saw them rolling over the floor and getting delivered while the servant of God is still far in the pulpit commanding the evil powers of the air to release the afflicted people in "Jesus Name." Many times after Sunday evening prayers which would end around 8:30pm in the night I would wait till the church would be empty of people (as hundreds would stand in the queue just so that he would touch them personally), and then I and my friend would spend the whole night in the church. Somewhere late at night the servant of God would join us sometimes for a small chat and singing of hymns and praises which would then end in prayer. His presence itself would charge the atmosphere around us. During one such chat he said of a earlier day even before his ministry started, that how he prayed and prayed fasting in the presence of God, and during one such prayer he heard a groaning voice, full of pain and sorrow. He wanted to see who was around doing that noise, so he opened his eyes and saw before him a man afflicted and without strength, filled with wounds and soaked with blood as if he was slain, and from his mouth came these words "I am Jesus………" I do not remember all what the servant of God told me of Jesus saying to him, but to sum up he said to us "all the diseases and problems in the world were upon Him, if you see during the prayer time people getting healed of their sickness and miseries and delivered of their sins and bondage's it is only because Jesus takes all of those things upon his body and gives them healing and deliverance instantly, as he has gone through all those situations and understands its pain."  The chorus of that beautiful song comes into my mind, well after a while after I finish writting this article I want to strum the guitar strings for its lines.

"You came from heaven to earth,
To show the way.
From the earth to the cross,
My debts to pay.
From the cross to the grave,
From the grave to the sky.
Lord I lift Your name on high."

In the Valley of great Temptations

 
Temptation: In simple words an action aroused by the feelings to have or try certain things or perform certain acts to satisfy the carnal desires thereby leading to a trap for which some fall victim for a time or life long.

People fall into temptation/s when their battle against certain desires is lost and their being is surrendered for meeting the demands of those desires  whether good, bad or evil.

Fight to overcome temptation and to escape far from its venomous fangs is the fight of many today. Many develop alternate habits to get rid of the temptation they go through. But with that fall as a victim for one more. The later state bringing that person to the state worse than they were in the former state.

Narcotics, cigarette, alcohol, adultery in all its form, enhancement surgeries, unlimited unaffordable expenditures using credit cards etc., etc., the list goes on.

Starting with one small desire developing into temptation to experience, and that experience to addiction, the addiction leading to bondage, the bondage to deep struggle, and struggle to pain and confusion, from pain and confusion to self pity, and further from self pity to ill health and ill health towards feebleness and death which was not meant for that person.

Everybody walks at the dark end of the room. But, vigilant are those that change their direction when they see a ray of light by taking step towards that light. Victorious are they when they are soaked by its presence for there is deliverance.

Unavoidable fantasies, sleepless hours rolling over and over changing sides and the direction of the pillows, feeling drowsy at times when we travel, standing or sitting somewhere in the house or at work, feeling unproductive in anything he or she does, constant headache thinking of the same thing and a feeling of nervousness further enveloping that persons being, whether he / she sits, stands or walks the very image of the thing desired standing before the eyes blinding everything those around that person, thoughts in the mind revolving every moment to feel, to touch, to experience and be satisfied by that thing to which temptation has spread it net. Nothing looks too important to a person then a strong desire to fulfill the desire. Where can I have it? what can I do to have it, what to do after having it ? the mind plots the width, the length, the breadth and time frame.

From within a torn spirit and deep down in the dark corner of the heart a depressed soul crying

"O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?" (Romans 7:24 – The Bible).

Why am I going through all these troubles? What did I do to anyone to deserve this? my life is totally undisciplined and my days are unproductive, all around me are so happy or seem to be like that, but look at me I am so unorganized, I cannot think right, act right, or even enjoy life like they do. Who will deliver me from all these troubles? when will I be delivered these troubles?

First of all it is wrong to assume that we are the only one going through such temptations, the gravity of the temptation at times forces us to believe that we are the only one who suffer. Lets carefully look at the following lines and read it again and again.

The Bible speaks of prophet Elijah in the book of Kings. God through this prophet confounded the unbelievers and showed his might in the land of Israel turning the heart of the people towards God and bringing fear on the people who worshiped the idol gods made of metal and rocks. Every true child of God today reads the life & works of Elijah in the Bible again and again and dreams of becoming like him one day. Elijah lifted up his voice to heaven and asked God to send fire and consume the offerings and God sent the burning fire from heaven which not only consumed the offerings, but also the woods, stones and dusts upon which the offering was laid and also licked dry the trenches of water which surrounded the alter upon which the offering was kept. He prayed God that there should not be rain in the land of Israel, and so it was for three and a half years (3-1/2) there was no rain in the land and there was great famine. He prayed again and the rains started pouring down. God gave Elijah water from the brook to drink and commanded the ravens to feed him who brought Elijah bread and meat in the morning and in the evening. There are so many thing about Elijah which if it is written goes to a very length, but we will stop discussing about him by reading how he left this world. The Bible says a chariot of fire, and horses of fire came down from heaven and took Elijah up by a whirlwind to heaven.

During his days was Elijah different from us? Let read what The Bible says,

"'Elijah WAS A MAN SUBJECT TO LIKE PASSIONS AS WE ARE, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit." (James 5:17-18 – The Bible).

Elijah was no different from us.

King David fell into temptation by the beauty of Bathsheba and arranged the death of Uriah her husband by sending Uriah on the frontline to fight the battle where Uriah died, by which David incurred Gods anger. (II Samuel – 23:9 – The Bible). But in the days to come he regretted for his deeds and seeked God for forgiveness and strength. God describes David through His prophet Samuel,
"I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart." (The Acts 13:22 – The Bible).

Elijah the prophet and David the king went through the same temptations which we are all going through today. And so there are many instances in the Bible which if written in this article could really go very long.

Lets cheer up we are not alone in our fight against temptation. Millions of people around us are struggling. Prophets, kings and disciples of Jesus went through the same in great measure, but when they turned their face towards God and sought his assistance God gave them victory.

The Word of God says,

'There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." (1 Corinthians 10:13 – The Bible)

James the disciple of Jesus writes "Is any among you afflicted? let him pray." (James 5:14 – The Bible).

Jesus said,  "Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation." (Mathew 26:41 – The Bible).

How? he taught us in the Lords Prayer,

"And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen." (Mathew 6:13 – The Bible).

Yes, all power and authority is Gods and he is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us forever. Amen.

OUR Disappointment is GOD's Appointment

ONCE born as a human being we pass through many stages of life, and in each stage we see many aspects of life one different than the other and gain experience to walk one step at a time.

THROUGHOUT history and currently we see no human being ever walking in this planet not knowing what disappointment is. It is evident that everyone who is born has to go through disappointment in one or the other circumstances which they have to endure. Some for a season, some for an hour, days or months and some life long. And we find no one who can boast that they have walked in beds of roses, drank the wine of happiness, and soared high in the world of fantasies without going through disappointment in their life time.

CHILDREN'S get disappointed with their parents when they do not buy them what they want, parents get disappointed with their children for certain things. Wife gets disappointed with her husband when he does not show up early in the evening after work or if he just sits around in the house without helping her. Same way husbands get disappointed with their wife for certain reasons. A person going through a incurable illness not because of his/her fault has a question why did I get this? what a disappointment, at certain times it is the product of their own action. A falsely convicted person stays behind the bars with clouds of disappointment covering all over him. Some are allergic to certain things which they love, and when they find others enjoying those things they get disappointed and ask themselves why am I not able to enjoy those things, why is it only me? A stripper is disappointed when someone marks a finger at her, does these people understand what I have been through? a question passes her mind several times. Lets see the children of great business personals, many say they are lucky, they eat on golden plates, drive on limousines, wear good clothes, enjoy rich friends and elite clubs, shop on expensive malls and know not what is termed as disappointment, but alas, they are far from the love of the family and get involved in gang wars, drugs, sex etc., Tabloids feature the dark side of the film celebrities indulged in drugs, illegitimate off-springs, multiple divorces and marriages, drunk driving, public abusing etc., these are the people who shine on silver screen, sparkle on red carpets, show-off their gowns, suits and expensive diamond necklaces to the common public. But are they happy? Did the fan club and super hits and the wealth they display keep them away from the above things due to the disappointments they go through on certain point in their life.
 
DISAPPOINTMENT does not possess the quality of a gentleman. It never knocks the door before it enters our happy yard. Its an uninvited guest which brings along with it the feeling of aloneness, self pity, anger and helplessness. A disappointed person goes through a time of exhaustion, heaviness in mind, he/she feels drowsy when he should not, but during the time he should really sleep he is left sleepless. Some try to express their feelings to others to gain their sympathy, while some drowning with self pity lock themselves away from all around them including their close friends and relatives and some with anger and revenge act strange.

ITS this time God points his finger to the words which thousands of years ago he embossed on this beautiful book called "The Bible" through his faithful servant Prophet Jeremiah.

"CALL unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." Jeremiah 33:3

SUCH a caring word by our loving heavenly father, with all its simplicity that a very illiterate can understand. No complex principles to be followed, No pilgrimage required, no sacrifices of any birds or animals, no rules and regulations to perform to obey His word. Just to call on Him, and soon He will answer us and not only answer us but He will shower on us His love and mercy and healing in a much greater measure that is beyond our understanding and in such a quantity that we will not have enough room to store them.

LET us see what Jesus Christ says, "Have faith in God" Mark 11:22

OUR disappointments can be many but Jesus said "With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible." Mark 10:27
"The things which are impossible with men are possible with God." Luke 18:27.

SAMSON was disappointed, but did God leave him alone? No, Samson achieved the greatest victory of his lifetime shortly before he died.

I WAS disappointed many times in my life, I tried to overcome them with my own strength but, ultimately I had to turn to God who not only overcame my disappointment but also made me victorious. My faith in Him grows higher and higher day by day.

I HAVE met various people who claimed to have overcome, but with that attitude they have not only messed some or most part of their life but also of others during that process. But when we go to God and keep before Him our disappointments as it is, God will get to the root of the hindrances removing them one by one which otherwise is impossible to man. He will burn all the curses and bondages and set us completely free. And with Him it is always "Finished".

LETS see Jephthah the Gileadite (Judges 11). His step brothers joined with the elders of Gilead and threw him out of the house because he was the son of a prostitute through their father, they told him that since he was the son of a strange woman he cannot inherit his fathers house. He walked years of disappointment, but then came a certain point in life he turned his face towards God and poured out his heart to him. God made him the judge over Israel, he ruled them who threw him out of the house. An appointment with God made all the difference not only God answered him, but also blessed him with greater things he ever imagined.

WHEN we go to God we should remember that we are not praying to some unknown force in the universe who has some name, or some dead spirits of people of saints. ABSOLUTELY NO. We are praying to the one who is the creator of the whole universe we see and the one which is beyond our visibility. He is called as El-Shaddai (meaning GOD WHO IS MORE THAN ENOUGH for me/us), He is Jehovah Jireh (God who supplies all our needs), He is Jehovah Nissi (God who fights our battle for us). "When we humble ourselves and go on our knees with praises and thanksgiving and let Him know of the mountains we are facing, He will rebuke everyone of them makes them plain before us. God says "Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain" Zechariah 4:7.

WHEN we finish our prayer in the name of Jesus the Son of the Living God the Victory will be Ours, because he takes in him all our sickness, diseases, confusions, questions, infirmities, tears and disappointments and gives us his everlasting joy, peace, strength and happiness.

"COME unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Mathew 11:28.

CHRISTIANS walk is through the valley of shadow of death (Psalms 23:4), but Gods word is a lamp to his(her) feet and light to his(her) path (Psalms 119:105), he(she) will always be cheerful because he(she) overcomes as his(her) shepherd is a overcomer (John 16:33).

JESUS said, "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. IN THE WORLD YE SHALL HAVE TRIBULATION: BUT BE OF GOOD CHEER; I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD." John 16:33.

Scarcity of Love

"If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal." 1 Corinthians 13:1 (Bible)

Love is a divine language. Our actions should demonstrate love. Love is a communication for the dumb and the hearing for the deaf. It's a mending for a broken relationship, and rest for the burdened. Love sacrifices, encourages, and makes a mark in the depth of our very bring. Love strengthens us and helps us win over all battles in our life, because it has a power and strength to win over anything existing in this world. God wants us to have this kind of love. "Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13. There are so many people around waiting us to love them with this kind of love, because sacrificial love demonstrates God to them. God's love enjoys in providing something to someone without expecting anything back from them, and it delights in sacrificing to others. This is Gods love, and this is Christ's love, and this has to be a Christ-ians love.

Selfish love is different. Its temporary. A selfish person expects someone to provide him or her instead of giving to someone, and expects more and more. Unlike selfish love, Divine love wishes to give something to someone every moment. A person who is filled with Diving love uses his/her strength, money, time for the uplifting of others who needs them. Such a depth of love is seen in our Lord Jesus Christ. God loves us with an everlasting love. When we are lost in this world with its merriment like a lost sheep, God wants to pull us back and give us back the lost glory. He sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ for this purpose.

Let us follow the steps of Jesus and in all our works let us make him our guide, so his love may fill our heart and flow out of us like a spring reaching others who need that and who thirst for that love. Let us keep our life to shower divine love to others.

"But God shows his love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

Greater Love

"But the greatest of these is love" 1 Corinthians 13:13  (Bible)

LOVE is a subject which is termed in different ways by various people of different walks of life. From history and in current days we read many success and failures where love is the theme. Love has failed in the lives of people who used and use fake love for the purpose of making money who has never tasted the riches of real love but have drowned themselves in a duplicated love and exhibit such to the society. Love has failed where one puts forth his/her condition to love. Love has failed where hypocrisy gave its way.  Love has failed where people chose wealth, riches and fame in people to love where love existed only as a temporary pleasure in disguise. Thirst for real love experimenting in different arenas has been the thirst of individuals every time but unfortunately they all failed because they lacked the greater love which springs from the depth of their heart.  This sentence from Jesus shows us the condition of the present day love "And because wickedness is multiplied, most men's (woman's) love will grow cold." Mathew 24:12.

REAL LOVE has no boundaries, it does not explore people by their fame, riches or wealth. Real love makes one to explore within oneself deeper and make sure whether he/she is loving someone from the depth of their heart unconditionally or with expectation of a greater return from the other. Real love is Gods gift and it brings with it joy, pleasure, understanding and health, and while walking in union bringing riches and wealth in the course of time.

WHY REAL love is greater then anything? Because it has a power and strength to win over anything existing in this world. What about your family, relatives and friends? even your greatest enemy will be captivated by your love. Apostle Paul says in the Bible "but overcome evil with good" Romans 12:21. When the love of our dear Lord Jesus Christ is reflected in us, and when we exhibit that love to the people, all around us will swarm with love. Why is that? Because he loved us with an unconditional love even unto death.

THE CHAPTER which talks of love in the Bible is 1st Corinthians 13, in this chapter we can read all the greater characteristics of love. Jesus exhibited this love to the people, and this made one of the priest to ask him "Which commandment is the first of all?" Mark 12:28. Right there Jesus answered him " THE FIRST IS. 'Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength. THE SECOND is this 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these." Mark 12:29-31.

LOVE IS the foundation of Christianity and a Christians life is built day by day showering this love to the people around whether he/she is rich or poor, the celebrity or ordinary, love has no boundaries. "For the love of Christ controls us" 2 Corinthians 5:14.

JESUS commanded "This I command you to love one another." John 15:17. Paul said "So faith, hope, love abide these three; BUT THE GREATEST OF THESE IS LOVE." 1 Corinthians 13:13. Let us love God, let his love rule our life. Let the love of Christ which he poured on mount calvary flow through us and touch those around us and make a difference. There are lots of questions in life, but lets us start with the basic thing asking within ourselves, how are we today? are we exhibiting Christ in all the things we do? do people see the love of Christ in us? or do we love to get others attention.

MAY God guide us to reflect the love of Christ towards one another.

"A NEW commandment I give to you, that you love one another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. BY this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another" John 13:35

TODAY the nations which are called Christian countries to save their so called democratic values have put aside the truth of God by accepting and encouraging those who come up with writings and movies contradicting the word of God. Instead of stopping the flow of such literatures, films and stories which disagrees with Gods word, they have encouraged its publicity and screening in the name of democracy for their own political and economical gain. What a tragedy (((full freedom of communication to mock the words of the ONE who fills those countries storehouses with substances for survival))). The voice of true Christians crying to stop the propagation of such ungodly activities have fallen in the deaf ears of the rulers who have even blinded their eyes to look at them. Days are not far away when God will lift up the voice of His Samuels and remove the Sauls from power and give the scepter of authority in the hands of His Davids. A wise king scattereth the wicked, and bringeth the wheel over them. Proverbs 20:26. A wise ruler not only dispenses the wicked, but crushes them under the wheel so even their heinous schemes will perish along with them. When the fences are opened and the evil marches in with its venomous fangs claiming the victims and the people take shelter for the fear of death in SKY-and-LAND is it necessary to test God for some other signals WHO has already beckoned us to come under The Blood of His Son Jesus Christ" ???

 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satans seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth. Revelation 2:13 (The Bible).

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11 (The Bible).

Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; Colossians 4:2 (The Bible).

MARTIN Luther fasted and prayed, the result was Reformation, the rise of Fire Powered Christians who shunned idolatry and the worshiping of the dead. They lifted The Bible and said with one voice Thus saith the Lord. The fire quickly spread around the world (How many of that kind are left now?). People talked of Luther as the man who can have from God whatever he wishes.

JONATHAN Edwards fasting and praying was so extreme that many a times he was weak even to stand near the pulpit. This guy moved New England to God.

JOHN Calvin fasted and prayed till almost every house in his city had a praying person.

DAVID Livingstone a legendary missionary to Africa died on his knees praying.

JOHN Knoxs fasting and prayer made Queen Mary of Scotland to say, that she feared his prayers more than all the armies of Scotland. Its said, it was his prayers that saved Scotland.

JOHN Wesleys fasting and prayer kept the nation in unity. Of him people said, that he thought prayer was his business, and whenever he came out of his closet after prayer his face shined.

SMITH Wigglesworth was called the The Apostle of Faith. Raising the dead people (to life) was considered the most astonishing facet of his ministry. When the subject of faith is discussed in a Christian meeting the name of this Apostle of Faith is remembered almost most of the time.

SADHU Sunder Singh was called the apostle with the Bleeding Feets. He traveled thousands of miles on foot in India and neighboring countries. He consoled and healed the troubled Christians, at the same time strengthened and encouraged the churches to stand strong in the Lord.

Lets link our lifes every moment with the word of God. The Bible says "Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city." Revelation 22:14 (The Bible). Thousands of tongues cannot find enough grateful words and millions of thanksgivings are far less too to thank Him for all the wonderful things he has showered upon us. For so great is His love towards us in that He did not even spare His own beloved Son "Jesus" when we were drowned in sins so that we may have life through him (John 3:16).

Banks of latest weapons of warfare for a carnal mind is magnificent. But a Christians weapon of warfare is his supplications on his knees before God. Jesus showed us how to do that, when he was still alive with his disciples he was victorious and even in death the grave could not hold him. Prophets, kings, and disciples in The Bible and Gods servants above and many who are led by God over the years have shown us how the communion with God brought miracles and victories in their lives, the lives of peoples and nations. Each of them spent lot of time alone with God in their closet, they experienced God, they talked with God, and God strengthened them and used them mightily for the glory of His name. Ravens fly in groups but only upto a certain level in the air, they cannot fly at higher heights. But eagles? they fly alone they soar high up till we see them as dots in the blue sky. Likewise, when we spend time alone with God, he strengthens us, reveals us His hearts desire and takes us to the highest level of experience and communion with him, and as eagles see every tiny thing from the sky so will he show his church the signs of times written in The Bible.

But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. 1 Peter 4:7.

Isn't it time for everyone who calls themselves as true Christians to open The Bible turn its pages one by one and read what God says of these days??? Isn't it time for Christians everywhere to rise up in unity as a Church of the Living God and lift up the name of "JESUS" declaring He is the Way, the Truth and the Life???

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: and then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Joshua 1:8.

People live in bondage where there is no truth. Jesus said people will be free when they know the truth (John 8:32). Thats were a true Christians work starts, Gods codes are his inheritance through Jesus Christ. He takes the mystery of the kingdom in his being and sows with love the seed of salvation as his Masters trusted servant.

Dear readers, so standing steadfast in Him let us all one day personally be able to declare in Christ,
"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith" II Timothy 4:7
"Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing" II Timothy 4:8

WISDOM Towers SEVEN Pillars

Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars = Bible = Proverbs 9:1

WHAT are these "Seven Pillars" ???

(1)  1=  TRUST: Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding = Proverbs 3:5
(instead of leaning on your own understanding trust in Gods Word)
(2)  2= UPRIGHT: He that walketh uprightly walketh surely = Proverbs 10:9
(when you walk righteously you will not stumble neither you will fall)
he that watereth shall be watered also himself Proverbs 11:25
(give / help (water) = and you will be helped (watered) by God).
(4)  4= DILIGENCE: The hand of the diligent shall bear rule = Proverbs 12:24
(be quick to understand. he that understands rules)
(5)  5= GOOD WORDS: The mouth of the righteous man is a well of life = Proverbs 10:11
(when a person is righteous, foul and deceit words will not come out from his mouth, when he opens his mouth the well springs of life gushes out bringing joy to the hearer).
(6)  6= UNCONDITIONAL LOVE & PURE FRIENDSHIP: He that loveth pureness of heart, for the grace of his lips the king shall be his friend = Proverbs 22:11
(Do you love purity of heart? is your speech sweet and righteous? even the king / the ruler will make friendship with you)
(7)  7= AWAY FROM A PROSTITUTE (PORNE): Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house = Proverbs 5: 8

(The plight of a porne (prostitute) is eternal death in everlasting fire, a persons association with her will draw him to such a plight)

GODS WORD IS LIVING. Many are the words in the magazines and various books, we read them and enjoy them, but then they all end up dead giving joy but only for a season for their flavor dies. But the words in the Bible are living words, they talk to you, they walk with you, and through you they see and talk and help you when you sincerely adopt them in your life. When we trust His Words and sit in His boat, He will be a faithful sailor who will take us safely towards the other shore and will make sure that we have kept our feet on solid ground. I have gone thorough various hurdles in my life, each step God was teaching me something, he showered me with the pillars of knowledge and guided me with his strength to keep them. I have read hundreds of books on studies, novels, various magazines, commentaries etc., but among them there was not one which watered my soul and guided me towards the path of life. We see certain good things and certain bad things, we know their consequences and say to ourselves why not give it a try atleast one shot?

ISNT IT WORTH MAKING an effort to look closely to what our creator is saying. Is there anyone we find who not only instructs through His Words but also guides us every step ? No one . every assistance will stop at one time or the another. But here is the one who loves us, guides us, strengthens us through his words and assists us till we finish our short journey in this earth.

"My son (daughter) forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life and peace, shall they add to thee" = Proverbs 3: 1-2

HELLs fire Fury, and RAPTURE to Glory

IT WAS THE COLD NIGHT OF 1992 it was raining. As usual I finished my daily work, night Bible reading a prayer and went to sleep after 12 midnight. A good sleep, and there I was looking towards the valley of fire with several souls burning I could see them as good I could see anyone in the daylight, their cries were to save them from the everlasting torment. Beauties were charred, no riches, great could not boast, famous had no fans, no nationalities were shown they had come here leaving all that they had earned in the world. There was no other light but the illumination of the fire mingled with the deafening cries of the lost souls. There were no gates for anyone to leave that place except the one they came from, they were lost forever, it was as if there was no end to its belly for receiving the souls. The heat was so intense I jumped from the bed throwing away the blanket, I was still burning within me…after going to the bathroom I went to sleep again without pulling on my blankets, I got up I could not sleep, struggling in my bed till 4am in the morning I finally knelt down for prayer, wishing that no one would go there. The words from the Bible started flashing before my eyes ((For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God = Bible = Romans 3:23)) ((They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD = Bible =    Ezekiel 7:19)) ((But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the polluted, fornicators, sorcerers, idolaters and all liars, their lot shall be in the lake that burns with fire and sulphur, which is the second death = Bible = Revelation 21:8)). Mercy, Compassion and Pardon lacked in Hell, they that forgot God in earth called His name there and begged for Mercy, Compassion and Pardon. But there was no God there, how they forgot him while they were still in the earth ((For what shall it profit a man/woman, if he/she shall gain he whole world, and lose his/her own soul? Or what shall a man/woman give in exchange for his/her soul = Bible = Mark 8:36-37)) ((And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity = Bible = Mathew 7:23)) ((there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth = Bible = Mathew 24:51)) ((Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels = Bible = Mathew 25:41)) ((And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righeous into life eternal = Bible = Mathew 25: 46)).

FOLLOWING YEARS BETWEEN 2001-2003 there was something more I saw two times at different nights in my sleep, a very bright light illuminating the dark sky and thousands of angels descending from the sky with great noise and soon as they were in the clouds some of the people who were on earth started leaving the earth and rushing towards that bright light from all parts of the world to meet the one who was with the angels in the clouds. They came out from fields, from the houses, from barns, from everywhere. They were so little compared to earth's huge population, it was as if they were chosen to join the one who was in the clouds. The movement was so fast nothing could stop them, it was just like a very high power electromagnet kept above the iron powder, when the electric current passes to the coil and the coil becomes electromagnet nothing would stop the iron powder from being drawn to it instantly, such was the speed within fraction of a second just like a lightning. I could see great commotion among the people left in the earth, they were running wild knowing not where they headed to as if they were unable to regain themselves from the shock with what that had happened to some people among them here and there, horror and confusion depicted on them while they rushed aimlessly as if the great tribulation has started for them. It was sad to see what was happening there. ((For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord = Bible = I Thessalonians 5)) ((And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life = Bible = Revelation 22:1)) I thought of these words and the vision while getting ready for my office. Few days back talking to one of my friends and then stretching my thoughts at things happening in the world it looks certain that the Lord will descend very soon for his people to take them to his kingdom, after all that plagues, earthquakes, wars etc., mentioned in the Bible (Mathew 24) which would take place and would come in the last days. ((The fool hath said in his (her) heart, There is no God = Bible = Psalms 53:1)) I closed my eyes and pondered on these words of King David ((Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me = Bible = Psalms 51: 10-11)). Things written in this article is brief without further stretching, but made me think of the fact written in the Bible as how good it would be if parents pray for their children and children pray for their parents, husbands pray for their wives and wives pray for their husbands, and friends pray to one another that each others sins may be forgiven and that they may attain salvation and see one another in the kingdom of God ((For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them = Bible = Mathew 18:20)). Think about the position the children would be when their devoted parents vanish to be with the Lord, the position of husband and wife will be when one of the devoted vanishes to be with the Lord. Working, partying, fun time has made many forget to give sometime in their daily schedule to kneel before His presence and talk to him, isn't it necessary that we open our heart before Him who is the author and director of our salvation. Death is an uninvited guest who comes to anyone, anytime, anyplace, in any manner / type to young and old, to healthy or unhealthy people. A particular verse in the Bible says ((For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out = Bible = I Timothy 6: 7)) its true, I have seen a rich young person who inherited everything die in his young age of 30 in his room while I was yet in India, he was my friend who inherited lots of estates, company etc., after his parents death. He carried nothing to the grave, by sunset the day he died he was in the form of ashes in the incinerator. For some days I was sad, I looked at all the magazines he gave me to read….then that would make me think of the days I spent with him, finally I threw the magazines away and soon he too faded away from my remembrance. For many have considered eternity as a joke and a subject to make fun of, and some even challenging the existence of God their Creator and His Word's ((But I say unto you, That every idle word that men / woman shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgement. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be c.. Bible 12: 36-37)). ((Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, an will sup with him, and he with me = Bible = Revelation 3: 20)). HELLs fire Fury, and RAPTURE to Glory, so real….for God has given everyone the chance to choose. I am not a religious person, I really hate to be religious, I know people around me who enjoy life to the fullest, I do enjoy life myself but have to sacrifice something here and there.
