There's one area, though, where we haven't been extreme enough. That's in the accelerating degredation of organic standards. So take a look at this information which documents that organic standards have become so weak that the inforcement is left to the producers with no oversight whatsoever. The result?

At least half of all organic products are no such thing, with potentially dangerous or even deadly consequences. To make matters worse, the US allows 10% contamination of organic food with gentically modified product.

That's right - 10%. The rest of the world allows either 0.9% or 1.0%. We allow 10 times that much AND there is no inspection or labeling for any of it. We have been advising you to eat organic. On June 10, 2008, unless we get enough voices to holler out loud, the New York Legislature pass "Fast Track" legislation making all shots recommended by the CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) mandatory for EVERY child in New York. No exemptions of conscience or religion No objections by parents of already vaccine-damaged (or other vulnerable) kids. No private school exemptions. None. Gone. Vaporized by vote. Is that OK with you? It's certainly NOT OK with me. Forget Parental Rights Forget Civil Rights Forget Exemptions. Instead, every shot reccommended by ACIP, no matter how absurd or dangerous, will be mandatory. (The dangerous and unproven HPV vaccine will be mandated for your daughter) Every one.

Under the current ACIP vaccination schedule, children between the ages of birth and 7 years receive 47 doses of vaccines! No science shows this is either safe or effective.

By age 18 the total is 67 vaccine doses for boys and 70 for girls (including the absurd and dangerous HPV vaccines). No science shows this is either safe or effective. Quite a lot of science shows that it is neither.

New vaccines are being added at a furious clip: there is no profit in vaccines unless they are widely administered. How much more widely can they be administered? Well, how about compulsory vaccination for you, too? Under the same agency's recommended schedule, if you manage to survive to age 70 and you have been unlucky enough to be "fully vaccinated", you have received a walloping 70 vaccine doses since age 18 for a life-long total of 160 doses (men), 163 for women. And that doesn't even begin to deal with "special" vaccines like smallpox, "Avian Flu" or other "Pandemic" vaccinations. Nor does it include travel vaccines like Yellow Fever (which General Stubblebine and I routinely refuse, by the way).

Your response is probably, "What are they trying to do? Kill us?" Well, that's probably not a bad guess.

President Bush has proposed military quarantines of whole sections of the population re: Avian flu or other pandemic. Oct. 2007 executive order from President Bush that directed HHS to establish a task force to plan for potential catastrophes like a terrorist attack, pandemic influenza or a natural disaster that would ensure full use of Department of Defense resources. "What are they trying to do? Kill us?"

Once a "pandemic" is declared and martial law follows (triggered at the drop of that deadly word by the head of Health and Human Services or the White House), refusal to accept "Pandemic vaccination" will lead to your "relocation/quarantine" by either US forces or the Canadian army (following the February 14, 2008 treaty announced by US Army North Com and the Canadian Military). "What are they trying to do? Kill us?"

The 2006 Defense Authorization Act expanded the 1807 Insurrection Act to allow the President to declare Martial Law and send in the Military not only for insurrections, but also any "natural disaster, epidemic, or other serious public health emergency, terrorist attack or incident, or other condition," with both "incident" or "condition" not defined nor limited.

Halliburton has built a constellation of concentration camps (sort of our very own Gulag Archipelago) across the U.S. - are these camps for infected patients, or civil libertarians and nonviolent dissidents?

Flu Shots and Alzheimer's Disease

I do not believe there is such a thing as a "Green Vaccine", despite its lovely ring. Even green vaccines are dangerous because they introduce antigenic materials into the body which are neither safe nor effective in preventing disease and which damage the immune system. But if you still believe vaccines are safe, effective or both, and you want to give your child a toxic brew, please, be my guest. Why doesn't that right extend on the other direction?

Yesterday celebrities, parents, doctors and others marched to "Green Vaccines" in Washington and "get unnecessary toxins out of vaccines". Does that mean that there are, in fact, "necessary" toxins in vaccines?

It supposes that safe vaccines without, for example, mercury, formaldehyde, aluminum hydroxide, monosodium glutamate, aspartame, cancer-causing viruses, human fetal tissues, stealth viruses and the rest of the witches' brew can, in fact, be made. Let's assume that they can, just for the sake of argument.

There is nothing, nothing, I repeat nothing, in the non-commercial scientific literature which confirms the hypothesis that vaccines are related to the decrease in epidemic diseases (hygiene did that) or an increase in public health. There is nothing which confirms the safety of early and multiple vaccine doses. Nothing, although there is, of course, a vast amount of propaganda and junk science to assert it, but nothing to prove it.

My mother recently died of Alzheimer's Disease. She took her flu shots regularly because her doctor urged her to. Is my mother dead, after years of sorrow for herself and her family, because of her obedience to her mis-informed doctor?

Consider this: "According to Hugh Fudenberg, MD, the world's leading immunogeneticist and 13th most quoted biologist of our times (nearly 850 papers in peer review journals):

If an individual has had 5 consecutive flu shots between 1970 and 1980 (the years studied) his/her chances of getting Alzheimer's Disease is 10 times higher than if he/she had one, 2 or no shots. Dr. Fudenberg said it was so and that it was due to mercury and aluminum that is in every flu shot. The gradual mercury and aluminum buildup in the brain causes cognitive dysfunction.

Flu shots contain 25 micrograms of mercury. One microgram is considered toxic." http://www.royalrife.com/flu_shots.html

Five consecutive flu shots? Children by age 4.5 have had 5 consecutive flu shots.

Will the 50% Alzheimer's incidence in people over 80 increase to 100%? What about for people age 70 who will have had 71 consecutive flu shots?

And what about the 1 to 3 micrograms of mercury that the CDC now admits remains in all vaccines as an undisclosed "trace" contaminant? See the AgeofAutism.com web site for the email exchange with CDC on this.

The Federal Government holds that vaccine issues belong to the states and their position is "merely advisory." New York is surrendering its responsibility to the 15 member board of the ACIP. Why? Could it be that our strong advocacy and others letting people know about the dangers of vaccination threatens to undermine the tremendous profits inherent in vaccination? Could it be that although, to quote the May 21, 2008 NY Times article, : "the U.S. currently enjoys the highest immunization rate ever; 77% of children embarking on the first day of school are completely up to date on their recommended doses and most of the remaining children are missing just a few shots." We also enjoy the world's highest rates of autism (currently 1 boy in 60 in New Jersey!), pediatric diabetes, neurological disorders, MS, Asthma, Pediatric cancer, etc.

"Under the New York law, both your child's doctor and you will be required to maintain and provide burdensome documentation of the inoculated status of your child. If you lose your child's papers? Reinnoculation.

If you doubt that, ask the parents of the 1100 kids revaccinated at gun point in Prince George's County MD last November when the school district admitted that they had lost the kid's records and re-immunized them anyway! And ask the parents of the other 1200 kids vaccinated that day while police with attack dogs watched - despite the fact that MD is an exemption state.

If you refuse vaccines in NY and don't give your child the opportunity to develop autism, asthma, diabetes, neurological disorders, and all the other possible consequences of immunization, including convulsions and death, you will very likely lose your child and go to jail.

Since there is no reason at all to believe that this lucrative, and insane, mandatory vaccination requirement will stop at age 18, I believe that we can expect laws mandating adult vaccination as well.

GREAT ADVICE

Boy this is great news - thank you. What's your call - will we all lose our freedoms or will the public wake up enough to stop the wolf in sheep's clothing -

permanently - with health freedom laws that have teeth?

C-51 has generated a firestorm of protest across Canada with simultaneous rallies having been held against it and more are planned. Its generated press converage and a lot of mail to MPs. So now they're planning on holding "Stakeholder Meetings" across Canada on the bill as a way of trying to deflect criticism and to try to smooth the waters. It is very important people attend these meetings in order to reinforce our position and to not be snowed by the bullshit they'll inevitably try to sling at us in an effort to deflect our criticism. Some MPs are holding Town Meetings due to enormous anger expressed by constituents. I am going to one such meeting this coming week in Langley BC. More pressure is needed to get similar Town Meetings.

We have to keep the pressure on. There is a huge amount of money and influence behind this bill and it will be passed unless we keep the pressure on relentlessly. If you aren't already, you should be doing what I'm doing which is to make the rounds to health food stores, Naturopath's offices, etc to make sure they're passing out flyers to the public on this issue. Enlist the help of others in your area so its not just you doing it. Set up a table at a local HF Store and create a list of people who can help you do this at other stores. Boycott any stores that won't help by standing in front of them to redirect their customers to the closest store that is helping.

Don't just send email, they're using filters to dump anything with C-51 in the Subject line into a kill file. Send snail mail or faxes.

Well I am seething with rage about this. They're trying to SPRING this meeting on us with DELIBERATE SHORT NOTICE in the hope that NO ONE will show up.

US Bullies Africa on GM Labeling, Africa's Had Enough:

The US outdid itself at this Codex meeting. It actually bullied another country into withdrawing its submission because the paper South Africa submitted in favor of Mandatory GM Labeling was so strong and under cut the US position that no labeling should ever be permitted. South Africa is a sovereign nation, with its own concerns, laws and issues, but it was forced by US bullying to rescind its submission because of the international tantrum that the US threw. The US DOES NOT want anyone to know if there is GM food in what they are eating under any circumstances. Once the US became aware of South Africa's paper (apparently before it was generally available to the rest of the meeting), they jumped all over them electronically. This was a major affront to national sovereignty, African and the concept that Codex is anything but a mouth piece for the multinational corporations which the US represents! Africa, however, decided that they have had enough! :

What this means for us as consumers is huge. What it means for us as an organization is likewise huge but adds a continuing requirement for sufficient funding for us to be able to continue both our health freedom campaigns in the US and to continue our international work. For example, we will need to go to Africa at least twice before the next CCFL meeting, perhaps 3 times, if we are to support this vitally important effort properly. Species-specific mandatory labeling of GM foods impacts each and every one of us. Manufacturers who have to put such declarations on their labels for international trade will put great pressure on the US to lift the ban on such labeling for domestic consumption. The US will be hard pressed, indeed, to keep such labeling out of the US on food imported (as more and more of our food is) and the pressure for mandatory GM labeling will be increased immeasurably by this move. :

We are proud to be such an active part of this movement to allow people to have health freedom options in their food choices and eat safe foods. :

YES, INDEED, compared to the US position, we certainly have something else to say to anyone with a pro-health ear and we continue to say it. :

Thanks, Dr. Schneeman, for that excellent confirmation of the accuracy and importance of our work! Remember, the US actively FORBIDS the labeling of the GM components in your food. :

You read that right. It FORBIDS any reference to the fact that 75-80% of your food contains (or is) Genetically Modified. So you are part of the largest experiment in human history. Risk Assessment and Risk Management depend on Post Market Surveillance, as it is called, which means finding out what the stuff that you are exposed to does to you. It is the final (and official) phase of human experimentation and clinical trials for foods and drugs. Without labeling, however, there can be no Post Market Surveillance because there is no possible way to find out who ate what and when. There is therefore absolutely no way of knowing what these "foods" are doing to us and our children, to our cancer and fertility rates, to the possibility that, for example, contact with GM cotton might be causing the horrifying Morgellon's Disease and [literally!] who knows what else. Consumers who want to avoid this stuff (as I do, because the more I learn about these products, the more concerned I become and the more unwilling I am to consume them. :

The Natural Solutions Foundation is working on this issue inside, and outside, of the US because that's where the solutions are. What is the US afraid of your knowing? If you read Appendix I (on the right hand side of the Press Release about the situation (http://www.prweb.com/releases/GM_Labeling/Codex/prweb909004.htm):

to South Africa's Conference Room Document 21 (now retracted), you will see a pretty good summary of why you should be afraid, very afraid, of eating GM foods. If you read Appendix II of the same document, you will see the official US Policy, taken directly from the FDA's website, on why GM foods are NOT tested for safety and why materials proving their safety are not required before they enter the food chain - and your body!:

Two Working Groups on the labeling of GM foods were convened (Oslo, 2007 and Accra, 2008) to deal with this impasse. The Oslo meeting saw the memorable declaration by the US Delegate, FDA's Dr. Barbara Schneeman, that the reason the US FORBIDS any GM labeling is that consumers would overwhelmingly reject GM if they knew they were eating it and therefore, because the US holds that GM and non GM foods are identical, it would be false and misleading information if consumers were told the truth about GM components in their foods. I have previously reported on the stunned silence and astonishment that greeted this revelation, characterized by the EU Delegate (when he could catch his breath!) as "Weird!" :

Zimbabwe, Zambia and several other African nations are, in fact, convinced the description should be "Lethal" because they believe that GM food is a genocidal strategy to depopulate Africa [first]. They may be right, given the fact that organisms like Epicyte's spermicide-producing corn, which confers permanent male sterility when eaten, which was patented in 2001. Monsanto and DuPont acquired it for development and proliferation. The extent to which it has contaminated the food chain is currently unknown.* Further, the emerging science of GM impacts is frighteningly clear: eating, raising or growing GM products has many serious impacts.** :

An Important Notice Regarding Bill C-51

On April 8th, 2008, the Canadian Minister of Health introduced Bill C-51 into the House of Commons. This Bill proposes significant changes to the current Food and Drugs Act that will have wide-ranging negative implications for Canadians.

Bill C-51 will: ·

Remove democratic oversight, bypassing elected officials to vote in laws and allow bureaucrats to adopt laws from other countries without our consent. ·

Remove 70% of Natural Health Products from Canadians and many others will be available by prescription only. ·

Restrict research and development of safe natural alternatives in favor of high risk drugs.

· Punish Canadians with little or no opportunity for protection or recourse for simply speaking about or giving a natural product without the approval of government. More than 70% of people in Canada use a Natural Health Product. The new law goes so far as to warrant action against a person who would give another person an "unapproved" amount of garlic on the recommendation that it would improve that person's health. Proposed New Enforcement Powers: ·

Example In 2003 Health Canada launched an attack on a group of mentally ill patients and the company who supported them naturally. They seized shipments of a safe natural therapy required by the patients and stormed the support center with 17 armed officers and agents. The company (Truehope) reported that they lost contact with more than 300 of their Canadian participants. The Canadian Mental Health Association told of suicides as a result of government action. Health Canada then charged the not for profit company, burdening them with heavy legal costs. Peanuts from the People's Pockets
 
Secure servers are expensive but absolutely necessary. Funding is the limiting factor for winning the health freedom battle since we have courage, strategy, determination and flexibility.  Let me make that more explicit: We are here in Benin, a very poor, but very forward thinking African country, talking with them about their natural role as leaders in the Codex battle.
 
We have set up research programs here which have the capacity to feed the people of Africa without chemical fertilizers, pesticides or other toxins while increasing yield many fold.  This technology will protect the environment, the food, the farmers and the consumers while growing enough food to allow the farmers to remain on their farms rather than migrate to the cities where they and their families become part of the abjectly poor.  We are developing a relationship with one of the world's leading integrative agricultural centers and both the government of this country and this private sector center are testing our low tech, high impact technology.
 
This program is part of the Natural Solutions Foundation's  International Decade of Nutrition, a set of simple, effective and inexpensive solutions to the problems caused by the increasing industrialization of the world's food supply.  We brought our documentary film makers to Africa from the West Coast of the US to attend the Codex Working Group on the Labeling of Genetically Modified Foods in Ghana and then brought them with us to document our meetings here in Benin with Cabinet Ministers, scientists, agronomists, etc. because Codex meetings and the ways to reclaim food production are all part of the story that needs to be told in our Codex agenda documentary.  Getting our film makers- and us - to Ghana and to Benin and getting all of us home again - traveling economy class all the way, has cost $29,722 for airfare alone.  Our hotel rooms, pretty simple ones, I must say, have cost $3132 for Ghana and Benin.
 
That does not include food, transportation, cybercafe fees, film or any other expenses.  That's $32,854 for economy class travel using the best price internet sites to save money on every flight (which takes hours and hours of our time, I can assure you) and simple hotel accommodation.
 
What Did You Do With All that Money?
 
We used the money - your money - to create powerful documentation of what Codex is really about and what happens when developing countries take their power back!  We used it to form powerful alliances with strong-minded public servants and scientists dedicated to health and freedom who are on our side. We used it to bring a world-view of possibility to Codex and national leaders who have been bamboozled into believing that Codex is really going to be helpful to them and that the US has the best food security and safety in the world.
 
They have been led to believe, through propaganda and artful misdirection of attention, that US food sustains life and health when, in fact, the reality is that the standard Western diet ("SAD") is a killer diet. Look at the US rates of cancer, cardiovascular disease and stroke, diabetes and obesity: they are all epidemic and getting more common every day.  Yet these are the the same conditions which the WHO/FAO Special Report on Diet, Nutrition and the Prevention of Chronic Diseases,
whqlibdoc.who.int/trs/WHO_TRS_916.pdf, identifies as the preventable epidemic diseases of under nutrition.
 
They are, of course, the diseases easiest to prevent and treat successfully using high potency nutrition.  And they are the diseases which produce the most money for the illness industry. Cancer and heart surgery are cash cows for the illness industry and if a little vitamn C and some Co Q10 or EDTA (all out of patent, all very, very cheap) can wipe out the market keeping your hospital afloat, you will definitely look for ways to stamp out the sale and skillful use of those [economically] dangerous substances.
 
So how can the US have the best, safest and cleanest food in the world if that food is killing the US and killing anybody who eats it anywhere else in the world?  Simple.  It can't. Congressional hearings over the last few weeks documented the dismal failure of the FDA to keep our food safe (of course, the Congressional solution is just to throw more money at the already failed FDA.)  And that is why, by the way, we are asking Congress to divest the failed and broken FDA of its food regulatory responsibilities.
 
Of course, we could have stayed home.  We could have allowed Codex to win and the multinational corporations to continue to set US policy (and therefore the world's policies) on food and health. Or we use these precious resources to do what no one else has had the foresight, courage or insight to do: create an effective strategy to take on the responsibility of fighting for your health freedom, your access to natural health options and your right to clean food and documenting the whole process so that the consciousness of the rest of the world can be raised, too.
 
If you were the other side wouldn't you try to get us off the playing field with disinformation, too?
 
$45K for Freedom?
 
In our last Health Freedom eBlast we said that we needed a minimum of $45,000 per month to fight the health freedom battle successfully. Some people wrote to us and said, "What could you possibly need all that money for? After all, $45,000 per month comes to $540,000 a year.  What's all that much money for?"
 
Well, transportation to and from Codex meetings, for example, and to the countries that will take leadership in changing Codex, for one thing.  Paying our film makers who cannot, unlike General Bert and me, work without any compensation at all and paying the expenses that go along with making this documentary.  Paying for secure servers and a web master who is always there for us, for another.
 
I thought it might be helpful to share what our MINIMUM expenses for a month are.  Remember, when you consider the amount of money that Big Pharma spends per year on convincing people that their concoctions are good for you (and buying legislators), the amount of money that the industrialized food supply companies, including the biotech industry, invest in convincing you to continue to eat food that is killing you, what the pesticide companies spend to make sure that your food has been sprayed with compounds that destroy your enzymes, add it all up and the number is so big that it is hard to comprehend.  Billions and billions. This budget is a whole lot more shoe string-y than most people would imagine, and yet we are able to accomplish astonishing results on the tiny amount of money we have available to us.   With a little over half a million dollars a year we can multiply our effectiveness many fold.  With a million a year, imagine what we can accomplish together!

Parakou in Panama
 
While we were in Benin, we made astonishing progress on our Panama Project! We were fortunate enough to be taken to Songhai in the old capital of Benin, Porto Novo, about an hour's drive from Cotonou, the current capital.  Lunching on organic foods in one of the two restaurants (including fish, rabbit, chicken, quail, and a vast array of vegetables and washing them down with organic, sustainably produced bottled juices from the trees and bushes of Songhai) we knew that we were somewhere out of the ordinary.  Songhai, the ancient empire of West Africa from the early 15th to late 16th century was one of the largest empires in African history.  Its landmass was larger than all of Western Europe.
 
Today's Songhai is the astonishing creation of Fr. Godfrey Nzamujo, o.p. (http://www.healthfreedomusa.org/wp-admin/post.php?action=edit&post=518). It is a center of excellence in food production, training and integrated zero emission agriculture where nothing is wasted and nothing is allowed to contaminate the environment.  Songhai is the site of the largest biogas energy production center in Africa and has been identified as a UN Center of Excellence for Africa.  Whatever you have seen in integrated farming and sustainable agriculture pales in comparison to this center where, over 20 years, a set of techniques and possibilities for global sustainability have been developed from literally nothing at all except the ability to see wealth where there was only poverty, potential where there was only failure.
 
Of course, General Bert and I immediately asked ourselves, "If this lush and fertile land has been created out of arid and hostile land, what could happen on the virgin fertile land we have selected in Panama if we had Fr. Nzamujo's expertise and technical input?"
Songhai (http://www.songhai.org/songhai_en/) is an astonishing and inspiring place: starting from abandoned, arid and infertile land 20 years ago, Father Nzamujo has created a multi-center model for total sustainability. And he has done so by focusing on the wealth of Africa, not her poverty.  Her wealth is in the creativity and productivity of her people as innovators and creators, not victims.
 
Well, to make a long story short, Songhai and Natural Solutions Foundation have fallen in love.  Songhai is a farm and a farmer's school.  It is a community with a variety of enterprises which support it.  It is a seed community offering vision, wisdom, inspiration and practical support for agricultural and social institutions.  Songhai embodies the same vision as the Santa Clara project.
 
Fr. Nzamujo is a man of boundless enthusiasm who describes himself as a "Cosmic Dancer" who articulated our vision while we, in return, articulated his in a series of astonishing interactions over several days.  We offered Fr. Nzamujo the opportunity to test out our new agricultural technology to increase his already phenomenal crop yields and agreed to his request to help him set up a natural medicine clinic in Parakou, the second largest city in Benin and the site of Songhai's 6000 Hectare (14,400 acre) totally organic farm and rejuvenation center.  This center will, of course, be a sister site to the Santa Clara Health Center we will establish in Panama.
 
And, in return Fr. Nzamujo has agreed to mentor us in Panama to help us make the Santa Clara site not only a successful agricultural center and school, but to help us solve the problems of off-grid energy (in which he is an expert) and community design using the methods he has found work best for the creation of viable agricultural enterprises integrating:

    * Local resources, traditional and modern methods

    * Hybridization of traditional and modern agricultural practices

    * Implementation of effective management

    * Encouragement of individual and communal responsibility and initiatives

    * Inclusion of diverse opinions

It would be difficult to tell you how much of a fast forward this connection can be for us and how much we have to bring to Songhai.  For example, we know that we have good hydroelectric power in the rainy season on the Santa Clara land. We have good solar but there are cost considerations there.  I knew that we had to find another source of renewable energy if the entire facility was to be off the grid all year long.  Fr. Nzamujo has perfected biogas, an odorless and safe fermentation process by which animal and agricultural wastes are fermented and the gas used to provide abundant clean, safe energy. Suddenly, our power problem disappeared!
 
Best of all, our Benin contact works closely with Fr. Nzamujo on a variety of projects and the two of them have agreed to undertake the registration and creation of a new NGO: Natural Solutions Foundation - Benin to partner with the Natural Solutions Foundation (USA) and Natural Solutions Foundation - Panama!

We are in the process of securing the initial funding to secure an option on the Santa Clara property and perform our feasibility studies.  The opportunity to get involved at this early stage is highly positive since we have created an program to help make it easier to become part of this outstanding opportunity to create sustainable living in the context of reclaiming food and health and community and ......
