Big Smiles! Before the cute little digital, I was a Nikon FG gal dragging two around with me at all times. One B/W and one color + all of those lenses and filter toys that I just knew I couldn't leave at home in case I needed them.
You're right! Film is getting harder to do all of the time. I've got a darkroom set-up for the black and white, but color? That film is turning into a major expense this century! My little digital made me giggle the first few times that I had it out. The whole idea of shooting hundreds of color photos without film had me shooting at everything in sight!
My digital is a little Canon PowerShot A580. Santa just brought me an 8GB card, so today I'm going to be trying the movie feature. I've never tried to make a movie of anything before. This might be fun! :) I normally love everything about photo. The friends were teasing me when they saw that large storage card come out of my stocking. "Oh NO! There she goes again!" Laughing!!! Shame on my cat for buying me that card.
Happy Christmas to you too Robert :) It'll be fun to see your flowers when you get them posted. I'm one of those photo nuts; can't go anywhere without a camera in tow. A few months ago a very good friend handed me a digital. I kept saying that I'd never leave my film camera's for a digital. Boy was I wrong! These digitals are pretty fun. And so tiny! I'm almost lost at times without one of those big camera gear bags over my shoulder. Do you like photo too? Catherine
