Why Become a Life Coach?
Life Coaching is all about building extraordinary lives. Coaches help clients to clearly identify what they want in their lives personally and professionally. They help clients gain clarity on values, helping them to make meaningful choices and take consistent action toward achieving a life filled with balance, joy, intimacy, energy, financial abundance, focus, and action in every area of life. Life coaches are there to provide their clients with the tools, support, and structure to accomplish great things. Coaching is like having a personal trainer for your life.
Clients usually seek a life coach to help them in the following general areas of life:
1. Make and keep more money
2. Get more done in Less Time
3. Communicate more Effectively
4. Feel better Physically and Emotionally
5. Substantially Increase Quality of Life
6. Become Closer to Others
7. Eliminate the Hassles of Life
8. Get on a Path to achieving some other goa
There are as many as 100 sub-specialties of life coaching as well. Some people choose to focus on, for instance, Real Estate or Retirement Life Coaching.
Life Coaching is not the same as therapy, and you should not attempt to do therapy on a person without first obtaining proper training and licensing. Therapy tends to focus on past and present issues. Consultants tend to give answers to their clients. Life coaches focus on the present and future and enable their clients to come up with their own answers through the work done in the coaching partnership.
